Them spiritually. It is believed to also have magical sexual powers. It is possible that some of the programmers might prefer the magical sexual powers of the willow, rather than those properties said to come from the mighty oak. This is not all of the willow's magical powers. It is connected with February and April in different ways, and magically connected with spring. It's possible that the person receiving a willow tree might be born in this time period. Is it possible that what type of tree is selected could sometimes be related to when a person is born. Some programmers might be into being time appropriate--this would depend upon the beliefs of the programmer s ; . The imagery of the willow's magical sexual properties could be worked into the programming, as certain alters might be asked to make certain brews, or taste of certain things hypnotically. This would be done at such a deep level it might not be known. Just as in the case of the Alice In Wonderland programming, when the person drops clear to the bottom of the tree roots they find themselves small and they go through a door. But when they come back the alter is not going to remember the trip and what they ate on the hypnotic trip down the tree. Further considerations on the choice of Trees. It is possible that the we can question the question. That is perhaps the question is not that the oak or the willow tree was used to the exclusion of the other--but that BOTH trees were used in the programming. Generally, this seems to be the case. In one particular case, it is possible that in a double system with a dormant third system as a final backup ; , the oak tree being the more obvious Druidic symbol and quite strong was used in the front system, and the totally secret second system has the willow utilized. When the one person attempted to snap the oak tree at ground level in a crude attempt to deprogram themselves, the root system regenerated itself through the first mirror image, and what came back was more spirit and more deadly. Remember, the tree serves as an umbilical cord linking via its roots the person to their spiritual life force which are the evil spirits which command and drive the system. ; However, when the oak tree and its mirror images and the spiritual protectors hideous spirits ; were properly done away with, and then further deprogramming was done, a crack seems to have developed behind the pyramid crystal which allowed the person's original set of alters to experience a new or double system! Since that has happened it seems there has been an increased drawing to willows. In other words, for this particular victim it is conjectured that the front system the fully operational set of alters ; has an oak, and the duplicate set of alters which were each broken off of each of the original set ; have a system with a willow tree. The trees roots of course are the umbilical cord to the source the waters ; that spiritually feed it. These relate to the soul ties. These roots have to be dealt with spiritually. They are so interwoven that they tie a person completely up with their roots and programs that are interwoven and wrapped around each other. Other 321.

Donga PZ, Pandey GS, Chen H University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA OBJECTIVE: Olanzap8ne and clozapine are two atypical antipsychotics associated with high risk of developing diabetes mellitus. However, a head to head comparison between these two medications is not available. The objective of our study is to compare the risk of developing type II diabetes with the use of olanzapine vs. clozapine. METHODS: The study was a retrospective, longitudinal cohort analysis using 2001 Georgia Medicaid claims data. Patients who had psychosis ICD-CM-9: 290.xx299.xx ; and had received at least one prescription of olanzapine or clozapine from March through November were identified. The two study groups were defined as patients who initiated new treatment episodes of olanzapine and clozapine after a 60 days window free of these medications. Patients who received diabetes diagnosis ICD-CM-9: 250.x0250.x2 ; or antidiabetic prescriptions 60 days prior and 30 days post the index date the date of treatment initiation ; were regarded as having pre-existing diabetes and excluded from the study. Logistic regression analysis was employed to assess the association between newly developed diabetes mellitus and the use of antipsychotics. Confounders such as age, gender, race, treatment duration, use of other antipyschotics, use of beta blockers and thiazide diuretics were included in the final model. RESULTS: Out of 18, 373 patients with an antipsychotic prescription in 2001, 4934 patients were olanzapine users and 376 patients were clozapine users. The incidence rate of type 2 diabetes was 1.05% among olanzapine users and 0.21% among clozapine users. After controlling the confounders, it was found that the risk of developing type 2 diabetes was significantly less for olanzapine users as compared to clozapine users OR 0.346 [CI 0.180.67] ; . CONCLUSION: Patients taking clozapine are associated with greater risk of developing type II diabetes as compared to patients taking olanzapine.

In contrast to the other atypical antipsychotics and thioridazine, the ziprasidone group demonstrated marked median decreases from baseline in total -14.5 mg dl ; and LDL cholesterol -11 mg dl; p 0.057 ; , with no impact on HDL cholesterol. Haloperidol produced changes similar to those of ziprasidone in total and LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, but had an adverse effect on HDL cholesterol median change: -3 mg dl; p 0.009 ; . There was a highly significant median decrease from baseline in triglyceride levels -37.0 mg dl ; in ziprasidone-treated patients; in contrast, median changes in triglyceride levels in the quetiapine and olanzapine groups increased by 25.0 and 43.0 mg dl, respectively. Total, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels are important predictors of cardiovascular disease risk; the ratio of total to HDL cholesterol or the log of the ratio ; is a single measure which strongly correlates with cardiovascular risk. Using the total HDL cholesterol ratio as a summary measure, ziprasidone and haloperidol treatments were associated with a significant decrease from baseline in this risk factor. Quetiapine and thioridazine, in contrast, were associated with a significant increase in this risk factor Table 53. Olanzapine continued the use of olanzapine for maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder should be prescribed on the recommendation of a clinician experienced in managing this complex disorder.

Respectively. In hybridization studies with the cosmid series shown in Fig. 2A, we have previously demonstrated that the sequence mapping between the ends of the 273-kb type I amplicon is uniformly amplified in both MK42 and A3; the patterns of hybridization in either EcoRI or HindIII digests were identical between parental CHO cells and these two MTXresistant cell lines 31; B. Troutman, unpublished observations ; . Thus, the amplicons in MK42 and A3 appear to be at least as large as the type I sequence by this criterion. However, the data presented in Fig. 3 show that if differences exist in amplicon sequence arrangement between cell lines, these differences can be detected by using cosmids as hybridization probes. For example, the cosmid cPA36, which contains the type I junction, detected the prominent 16-kb junction-containing fragment in CHOC 400 DNA, but hybridized instead to 9- and 10-kb fragments in MK42 and A3 Fig. 3A ; , both of which fragments are parental sized 27 ; . In addition, the cosmids c26A31 and c32A1, which cross the head-to-head and tail-to-tail junctions in the type II amplicon, respectively, detected multiple differences in the patterns of hybridization between CHOC 400 and the other two drug-resistant cell lines see map in Fig. 2A and Fig. 3B and C ; . In particular, with both c26A31 and c32A1, some bands appeared to be underrepresented in the CHOC 400 genome relative to other fragments in the region Fig. 3B and C, arrowheads these fragments corresponded to the sequences in the type I and larger ; amplicons that were deleted in the formation of the type II structure Fig. 1A and B ; . One current hypothesis on the dopamine DA ; contribution to schizophrenia relates to under- and over-activity in patient groups expressing different symptom clusters i.e. mesocortical mesolimbic based on the role of tonic phasic, extra intrasynaptic DA activity1 ; . Here serum monoamines, metabolites and DA-D2 binding were studied in relation to 4 PCA symptom-dimensions and medication of 63 patients with schizophrenia and 63 healthy subjects participating in a neuropsychological study. 1 ; The paranoid vs. nonparanoid ; dimension was associated with lower levels of HVA, presumably reflecting responsiveness to sub-chronic treatment and higher DA-D2 occupancy2. 2 ; Those with marked thought disorder factor1 ; had a low HVA 5HIAA ratio attributable to low HVA levels. 3 ; Strong ideas-of-reference factor-3 ; related to high turnovers of DA and 5-HT reflecting increased levels of the amine and metabolite. 4 ; Clozapine and olanzapine treatment were associated with higher levels of HVA and DA. Bipolar disorders are disabling and, for most patients, recurrent illnesses. Lithium is the 'gold standard' mood stabiliser in terms of efficacy, but many patients find it difficult to tolerate. the anticonvulsants sodium valproate and carbamazepine are useful despite minimal controlled evidence for their prophylactic efficacy. the approval of olanzapine and lamotrigine for maintenance treatment increases the choice of drug therapy. these new drugs, in conjunction with the development of effective psychological interventions, mean that the clinician has an increasing range of effective options to offer patients with these disabling and challenging conditions!

Most significant medicines developed in the past decade for the treatment of severe mental disorders such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and mania. These agents are atypical because they are significantly different, both in structure and pharmacology, from the older, typical antipsychotic medications such as Thorazine chlorpromazine ; , Mellaril thioridazine ; , and Haldol haloperidol ; . Having multiple mechanisms of action in the brain, the second-generation antipsychotics have wider applications than just for the treatment the "positive" symptoms of psychosis e.g., hallucinations, delusions, bizarre behavior, disorganized speech ; . These medicines have proven to be highly effective for treating negative symptoms of schizophrenia, which are characterized by emotional and social withdrawal, flat affect, lack of spontaneity, inability to feel pleasure, attention impairment, and other restrictions in thought, speech, and behavior. Several of these new antipsychotic medications have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration FDA ; for treating acute mania Geodon, Risperdal, Seroquel, and Zyprexa ; , and Abilify will soon follow. Zyprexa olanzapine ; has also been indicated for long-term treatment maintenance treatment ; of bipolar disorder. Thus most clinicians view second-generation antipsychotics not merely as antipsychotic medications but also as psychotropic agents, which are effective in treating a wide spectrum of mental disorders. Clozaril clozapine ; , the oldest of the second-generation antipsychotics, has been in use in Europe for more than 30 years. At one time, Clozaril held great promise for treatment of schizophrenia, but that hope was dashed when the drug was reported in the mid-1970s to cause agranulocytosis, a life-threatening condition in which white blood cells are fatally diminished. When deaths were reported from Clozaril-induced agranulocytosis, the drug was withdrawn from general use. Clozaril was not made available in the United States until the late 1980s, but the FDA restricted its use, requiring close monitoring conditions and reserving the drug for treatment-resistant schizophrenia unresponsive to conventional antipsychotics. Clozaril was the prototype of the second-generation antipsychotics, and the renewed interest in such agents spurred the development of new antipsychotic agents with similar properties but without the risk of agranulocytosis. In a little more than a decade after the introduction of Clozaril in this country, Risperdal, Zyprexa, Seroquel, Geodon, and Abilify were developed and buy risperidone. An activity involving systematic investigation of medical records for the purpose of developing or contributing to generalizable knowledge would satisfy the definition of research. With respect to the above-referenced publication, it appears that the authors systematically extracted specific clinical data age; gender; diagnoses; previous drug treatments; and dose, duration, therapeutic effects, and adverse effects of olanzapine ; from the medical records of a series of five children with psychiatric disorders for the purpose of contributing to generalizable knowledge about the response to, and side effects of, olanzapine treatment in children. Indeed, based upon the analysis of their collected data, the authors concluded that the clinical value of olanzapine might not be comparable in children to what might be expected based upon findings in adults. 2 ; HHS regulations at 45 CFR 46.102 f ; define human subject as living individual about whom an investigator conducting research obtains a ; data through intervention or interaction with the individual, or b ; identifiable private information. Research involving a retrospective review of medical records would involve human subjects when the investigators obtain identifiable private information about living individuals. With respect to the above-referenced publication, it appears that the authors obtained identifiable private information medical record information ; about children with psychiatric disorders. Whether these children were alive at the time the information was obtained is unclear. 3 ; Under HHS regulations at 45 CFR 46.101 b ; 4 ; , research is exempt from the requirements of HHS regulations for protection of human subjects when the research involves the collection or study of existing data, documents, records, pathological specimens, or diagnostic specimens, if these sources are publicly available or if the information is recorded by the investigator in such a manner that subjects cannot be identified, directly or through identifiers linked to the subject. OHRP acknowledges that research activities involving the study or collection of data from existing medical records is exempt if information from the records is recorded in a manner that subjects cannot be identified, directly or through identifiers linked to the subject. Regarding the above-referenced publication, your report indicated that you were able to identify the patient records for the individuals referenced in the publication.
